The medium of instruction is English. The school has adopted the
CBSE syllabus.
THE CURRICULUM
CBSE Syllabus : The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and prepares the students for the All India Secondary School Examinations conducted by the Board. The medium of instruction is English. Option is given to the students for selecting the second and third languages respectively from Hindi, Telugu and Sanskrit. However, one of the language is necessarily Hindi. The school runs Primary, middle and high school sections.
The school has an exclusive Kindergarten Wing 'The Play School' housing Nursery, LKG and UKG Classes.
Evaluation : A System of continuous & comprehensive evaluation coupled with annual examination is followed for all classes. Students of Primary classes are awarded grades for their performance. Unit tests, quarterly and half-yearly examinations will be conducted at regular intervals. Students are also evaluated on their performance in non-scholastic subjects. The schedule of examination will be sent to parents.
THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Registration : Registration Forms are issued in the month of November/December every year. Registering the name of a pupil in advance is essential to consider him/ her for admission. Mere registration does not guarantee admission. But priority will be given in admission for registration done in advance.
Admission : Admission into Nursery & LKG classes is purely on the basis of age and children's ability to interact. For other classes admission is confirmed on the basis of pupil's performance in the admission test/interview. The admission test/interview date and syllabus can be obtained from the office at the time of registration.
Higher Classes :
Class VI - VIII : English, Mathematics, General Science, Social
Science, Hindi/Telugu (II Lang.), Sanskrit/Hindi/Telugu (III Lang.),
Computers.
Class IX - X : English, Mathematics, General Science, Social
Science, Hindi/Telugu/Sanskrit (II Lang.), Computers.
Non Scholastic Subjects for Grading : Work experience, Art Education, Physical &
Health Education, GK etc.
Age :Nursery - 2 years 3 months
Class I - 5 years 3 months
